Grades K-2
The K-2 programming is designed to build a strong foundation for future learning and is the perfect gateway to All Saints Academy's (ASA) school-age program. A child-centered approach to learning encourages children to explore, communicate, and create as they learn.
The experience and caring faculty of ASA pride themselves on meeting the individual student’s learning needs. Using information from classroom observations, students’ interests, assessments, and standardized testing, teachers are able to make informed instructional decisions. Using a wide variety of techniques and instructional resources, teachers create an environment that is nurturing and empowers young children to take ownership of their learning. ASA’s Learning Lab offers a dedicated environment for students needing additional academic support, providing specialized interventions from a certified teacher through individual one-on-one attention and small group instruction. Lessons focusing on the social and emotional development of students are presented to all students in small groups through the school counseling program as a team of dedicated professionals collaborate together to live out the school’s mission. Regular visits to the Atrium allow children to learn about their Catholic faith and scriptures through age-appropriate hands-on Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program. Liturgical Music weekly classes and attendance at a weekly Mass which is celebrated while being mindful of the developmental age of the K-2 students in mind allows space for faith to flourish in ASA’s K-2 students.
