Schedule, Pick Up, Drop Off

Your child’s detailed schedule is available by logging in to Infinite Campus. If you do not have a login account for Infinite Campus, please contact Technology Coordinator, Karen Szczytko (Sitko) kszczytko@asagr.org.

Please note:  The tardy bell indicates the time the student should be in their desk and ready for class. Please drop your students off well before the tardy bell time so they have time to make their way to the classroom, unload, and prepare for the day. Students who are not in the classroom by the tardy bell will be marked tardy.

All Cars

• Entrance to ASA lower campus at Diamond should be via Evelyn St. ONLY. This helps tremendously with the flow of traffic and safety to our students. This is marked by the green arrows on the map.
• To exit the lower campus, please use the drive south of the school building near the garage. This too is marked by the green arrows on the map.
• Please do not use the drive between the church and school. This drive is designated for the use of the bus before and after school and the 11:30 AM preschool dismissal. This is marked by the red “X’s” on the map.
• If you need to park to drop off students or conduct school business, please use the side parking lot near the church or the back rows of the main parking lot. These spaces are marked in pink on the map.
• Please do not pass in the drop off lanes.
• Please do not leave your car or park along the drop off lane; even for a minute. Use Parent Parking in the main parking lot to the west of the building (overlooking the park). Enter through Evelyn Street driveway.

Preschool

Drop Off

• Please park in the parking lot in front of the main entrance.
• All students enter through the main entrance (DOOR #1)
• Sign your child in at the appropriate classroom.

Pick Up

• Normally, students being picked up at 11:30 AM will be dismissed between the church and school. This area is designated by the red “X’s” on the attached map. Students being picked up at other times will need to be signed out from their classroom.
• Please park in the main parking lot and enter through Door #1.
• Due to the K-2 dismissal at 3:15 PM, the main parking lot will be blocked from 3:00 -3:30 PM. If you are picking up between 3:00 and 3:30, please park in the lot by the church.

K-2

Drop Off (8:00 AM-8:15 AM)

• Drop off students at the cones by the main entrance (DOOR #1) and exit through the South driveway on the South side of the school.
• Pull up as far as possible in the drop off lane when no cars are ahead.
• Please have students ready to go before pulling up. (Backpack, lunch, coats ready, etc.)
• Students arriving before 8:00 AM will be sent to Saints Club.
• Students arriving after 8:15 AM need to be signed in by a parent in the school office.

Pick Up (3:15 PM)

• Please enter through the Evelyn Street entrance and form 3 lines, side by side, in front of the cones by the main entrance. See the blue lines on the map.
• Students will be assisted into the cars and cars will be released as soon as it is safe for the children. Please wait for your line to be released by the staff before moving. Please do not pass in the lines.
• Parents must remain in cars so that the car rider dismissal runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Parents who have business in the school, please enter through the Evelyn Street driveway and park in the Parent Parking Area on the west side of the main parking lot.
• Students not picked up at 3:15 PM will be sent to Saints Club.

Please do not block the entrance to the teachers’ parking lot on 4 Mile. If you arrive and the car loop is backed up to that entrance, please pull into the teachers’ lot, forming a second loop (as pictured in black). Please wait for the first loop to pull ahead.

Drop Off (7:55 - 8:10 a.m.)

• ONE DOOR: Drop students at the main school entrance (Door 1). 
• ONE LINE: Since this is a continually moving line, please form only one line of cars so that students are not crossing in front of moving vehicles. We ask that you stay in car order (do not “cut” in line), and please pull up as far forward as you can before your student opens their door and exits. 
• LATE BELL: The drop-off window for 3rd-8th grade is 7:55 a.m. - 8:10 a.m. Students arriving after 8:10 a.m. must check in at the school office (Door 1).

Pick Up (3:20 p.m.)

• ONE DOOR: All students will exit through the main school entrance (Door 1) at 3:20 p.m.
• TWO LINES: Please form two lines of cars outside the main entrance. See map below: the line closest to the sidewalk (the yellow line) will exit the St. Jude property by turning right and following the hill up to Assumption Drive; the second line (the red line) will exit the St. Jude property through one of the driveways on Four Mile Road.
• SHIFTS OF DISMISSAL, DETERMINED BY CONES: Teachers will dismiss students to the cars in front of the orange cones (look for cones on the sidewalk). Cars in front of the cones are considered the first shift of cars, as any cars behind the cones are not yet able to receive students. Once the entire first shift is loaded, cars will be waved on to exit via their respective routes. See the map on the back. Your student will come to you.
• PULL UP AND PARK: All cars will pull up and park. Any cars now in front of the orange cones are considered the second shift of loading. Teachers will dismiss students once all cars are stopped/parked.
• REPEAT as needed
• Please DO NOT park in the island across from the main entrance unless you have school business to attend to prior to dismissal. This is to ensure the safety of our students and staff members.

Shuttle (3:45 p.m.)

• Students riding the shuttle will wait with a designated teacher and walk together to the bus stop in front of the school.
