How does ASA communicate with parents?
- Email: Our main form of communication is email. Weekly emails are sent on Fridays during the school year from mailer@grcatholicschools.org or communications@asagr.org.
- ASA App: Quick access to attendance links, calendar, directory, forms, handbooks, messages, menus, website, and more, all in one place.
- Infinite Campus: Infinite Campus is used for all students, toddler through 8th grade, to inform parents about grades, attendance, lunch balance/payment, and report cards.
- Other: Emergency texts for parents who have opted in and updates are also shared via our ASA app, Blog, Facebook Page, Instagram Account, & Twitter Account.

Where do I find the school calendar?
A paper snapshot calendar is distributed at the beginning of the year, but our ASA Google Calendar is the most accurate and updated daily.
How do I report absences, appointments, tardies, vacations, etc?
Whenever your child will not be at school, is leaving early, or arriving late, please notify the school office either by the attendance form, phone or email.

How do I find my child's teacher information?
You will have a chance to meet your child's teacher(s) at the Ice Cream Socal before school starts. Teachers' contact information can be found on the Faculty and Staff page under the About tab, in Infinite Campus, as well as in the Staff Directory in the ASA App.
What school supplies will my child need?
The student school supply list is posted each summer on the Families Resources page.
What time does school start and end?

What are the pick up and drop off procedures?
You can find pick up and drop off routines for each campus on our drop Off / Pick Up page.
What is the student dress code? Where do I get shirts embroidered?

Where do I find my child's hot lunch balance?
Information about menus, free and reduced meals, and payments can be found on the Menus & Lunch Information page. Lunch activity and balance can be found in Infinite Campus under Food Service in the left column.
How do I get involved at ASA?
- Before volunteering, one must complete Virtues training and have a background check. See more information on the Volunteering at ASA page under the Current Families tab.
- All parents should consider becoming involved in the Home & School Association. This is the parent organization that organizes many volunteer opportunities.
- Watch the weekly parent email for other volunteer opportunities. Contact either school office to inquire about additional volunteer opportunities with our libraries, recesses, athletics, and more.
What is SCRIP and how does it lower my tuition bill?
SCRIP is a program where you can purchase gift cards and a portion of the gift cards can be applied to your ASA tuition bill. Friends and relatives can also participate and request their proceeds benefit your child's tuition account. Full information on the SCRIP program can be found on the SCRIP Program page.
How do I sign my child up for sports?
Students in grades 5-8 are eligible to participate in athletics. Read more about Athletics on our Athletics.
